Indian summer hit San Francisco on Sunday and we were passing out pickles at Bi-Rite Market in the Mission.  Bikes, picnics in Dolores Park, tallboys, shorts, t-shirts and pickles of course…is it really late October??  Thanks to everyone who stopped by and sampled some SPICY pickles.

I was waiting to get on Muni today and I hear “Hey, Pickle Girl, is that you?”

The voice belonged to a guy that works at Say Cheese, a gourmet cheese and meat shop in Cole Valley where I am trying to get the pickles into.

I looked up and held my head up high and said “Yes, it is me, the pickle girl!”

I told Chad and his response was: “Are our kids going to get made fun of because of this pickle business?”
