I was waiting to get on Muni today and I hear “Hey, Pickle Girl, is that you?”
The voice belonged to a guy that works at Say Cheese, a gourmet cheese and meat shop in Cole Valley where I am trying to get the pickles into.

You will need:
One loaf of ciabatta, a slab style bread or focaccia (plain is best)
½ lb Mortadella from Bocallone
For the Sauce
½ c Crème Fraiche
¼ c Grainy brown mustard

Festive Beet and Fennel Salad
What better way to spread holiday cheer than to be the ultimate elixir to this year’s holiday feasts.
Ingredients:
1 jar of Just Beet It Pickled Beets
1 apple
2 bulbs of fennel
Apple cider vinegar
Olive oil
Walnuts
Goat cheese
Directions:
Using a knife or mandoline, finely shred an apple
